I was hoping for a shorter line today, but it appears to be even longer.... Rumor has it the line is moving faster today so it should only be 2 hours.....

Safely back in Atlanta and on the ride home.

Heading home.....

I'm at the airport in Madrid waiting to check in. 9 hour flight and ill be home. The picture here is a great view coming off the top of a hill that overlooks the airport and downtown madrid in the background. Unfortunately all I had was the camera on my phone which doesn't do it justice.

I have just arrived in Madrid, Spain. I have two very busy work days ahead of me and then ill be heading home.

Bon Jour from Paris!

I am staying in Paris over the weekend during my two week trip through Europe. On Friday night we met a colleague of mine who lives in Paris for a nice dinner. I am still fighting a cold, so i slept in a little late this morning. We headed out after lunch and did a walking tour of Paris, visiting the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and many other sites. It was a beautiful day today, though a bit chili, hence why i'm wearing 3 shirts!. The nice weather meant it was very crowded at the Eiffel tower so i didn't go up to the top. I am going to try again in the morning before we head off to Spain.

Greetings from France!

I made it into France earlier today and had about a 1 hour drive south of Paris to get to my hotel. I took a nice run to try and kick an on-coming cold. I have pictures and my run posted:

Headed to Paris

I'm at paddington station waiting to take the train to Heathrow airport. Its a short 1 hour flight on British Airways to Paris. I'm going through the infamous terminal 5 and heading to charles de gaul so pray for me that my luggage makes it!

End of a long day....

Headed back to the hotel after.a bit of a tough day. Starving at the moment actually - going to grab a quick bite to eat, wrap up a couple of conference calls and then hit the sack.

Morning from the UK

Had a smooth flight into London's Gatwick airport last night. On the Gatwick express headed into downtown London at the moment.

Heading to Paris on Wednesday and the to Madrid on Sunday. The weather is nice, but looking forward to getting off the road and spending the fall season at home.

Headed home

Looks like September is flying by already. I'm sitting on a plane in Newark, NJ waiting to depart to get back home.

I was in Hamburg, Germany all week and am running on about 3 hours a night worth of sleep. Looking forward to getting home and crashing out. The next 3 weeks are going to be absolutely brutal, but the good news is that Oct, Nov, and Dec should be heavy with work but light on travel making it much easier.

Its good to be home (well almost there). On the ride home from the airport now. Was a great trip, but I'm glad to be back.Just a quick note on the posts... If you've been checking in, you'll notice that all my blogs while I was traveling didn't show up until after I got back. Whenever I travel, the blogs are unpublished publicly until I get back. That's just a privacy/security measure, but the dates I created the blogs should be correct.After 20 hours in the air, I'm ready for a shower and some relaxation..... So I'm off for now....Dave

I never thought i'd be posting about how much fun i just hadshopping, but here it is! I spent the afternoon shopping at thePetaling Street (China Town) in Malaysia this afternoon and it wasactually a lot of fun! I would highly recommend it to anyone whocomes through Malaysia - its worth the trip! The people in Malaysiaare amazing - fun, out going, and very friendly. I really had a goodtime and can't wait to come back again soon.
